This poignant film provides a glimpse into the world of Holocaust survivors, Regina Karolinski (Oma) and Bella Katz, two friends who live together in Berlin. Their bond is maintained through the food they cook together which reminds them of their childhoods and answers questions of heritage, memory and identity. Jewish Museum Milwaukee is the official sponsor of this selection at the Harry and Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center’s annual Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival which takes place at the Marcus North Shore Cinema.
